The 10 Gods of the Five Elements:
- Friends/ Rob Wealth
- Eating God/ Hurting Officer
- Direct Wealth/ Indirect Wealth
- Officer/ Killing
- Direct Resource/ Direct Resource
These are not “Gods” in the sense of deities (Ba Zi is not religious or superstitious), but rather a representation of the various aspects and people in one’s life.
There are:

- 10 different types of Eating God
- 10 different types of Hurting Officer
- 10 different types of Direct Wealth
- 10 different types of Indirect Wealth
- 10 different types of Officer

Which Officer is a good Officer? Which Officer is a bad Officer? It all depends on the relationship of the Officer element to the Day Master. Once you understand how the elements of nature interact, you will immediately know which Officer will bring aid, and which will bring harm.
